Nicole Robiro

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main (Germany) , supervised by Matthias Schündeln and Reyn van Ewijk.

As an applied microeconomist, my research focuses on development, environmental, and health economics. I study how environmental conditions and development interventions shape economic behaviour and human welfare in low-income settings, with a particular emphasis on agriculture, conflict, and health, using high-resolution spatial data and causal inference methods.

I am on the academic job market for 2026-2027.

You can find my CV here.
